Loaves of Homemade Swedish, 12 Grain, Banana and Lemon Poppy-seed Bread. Please give us 24 hour notice :) So many of you have asked us to sell the bread we make and serve here at the Inn, so we have finally decided to offer it to you. When making your reservation online or on the phone, let us know you would like to take a loaf home and we will have it ready when you check out! Swedish bread is much like a Challah or Brioche and sweet notes in its dense texture. Its excellent for toast with your favorite jam, we use it for our French Toast at the Inn. 12 Grain bread is flavorful and healthy.It keeps well and pairs nicely with a warm stew or soup.It is great for toast as well. Our Banana and Poppy-seed breads are great browned in a skillet with a dab of butter (or two). For an extra treat try it with some whipped cream on top. Cost is $5.75 per loaf plus tax .

We have quite a nice selection of reasonably priced wine and beer/ales available for purchase.

Acclaimed chef, culinary instructor and food blogger Jolene Tan recently stayed with us and like this quiche so much she asked for this recipe and blogged about it on her site "What's Cookin Chicago." Bill's Bacon and Swiss Quiche has pleased many guests over the years and now you can order one to take home. This 9" quiche is baked and pre-cut for you, just warm at 350 for about 25 minutes. If you think you can't eat a whole quiche try eating some now and freezing some for later. Reasonably priced at $24.99 plus tax.
