Discover Oregon

Forward Oregon is a not-for-profit organization consisting of local governmental bodies, business owners, and citizens aimed at assisting the Oregon Community in achieving its desired goals. The organization is led by an executive board and segregated into the following committees: Marketing and Development Committee, Community Improvement Committee, Tourism Committee, and the Business Development and Historic Preservation Committee.

Oregon Area Chamber of Commerce

Promotes local member businesses in Oregon and surrounding communities.

Oregon Park District

The Oregon Park District currently manages over 140 acres of park land at ten different park locations in the Oregon area. Outdoor facilities include several baseball/softball diamonds, playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, walking trails, sand volleyball courts, a concert area, two (2) horseshoe courts and river fishing areas. In addition, several picnic shelters are available for group rentals.

Blackhawk Waterways

Blackhawk Waterways Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is a non-profit, official State of Illinois CVB...dedicated to promoting the Illinois counties of Carroll, Lee, Ogle and Whiteside as a tourism destination, and dedicated to helping you plan your personal trip here, or coordinate a group trip or event.

Oregon Soap Shoppe

Fragrant handcrafted soaps are a pleasure to use. When you awake in the morning, or turn in at night, there are few things more soothing than a bath or shower with our fragrant handmade soap. Patchwork Inn uses its own custom made guest soap made by the fine folks at the Oregon Soap Shoppe.

Conover Square

A unique shopping village in the old piano factory You won’t find familiar chain stores and a hectic pace in Conover Square. What you will find is an eclectic mix of merchants and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Covering two full floors, numerous owner-operated shops now call Conover square home. Built in 1893, the building is overflowing with history. Brick arches adorn the hallways and the walls are lined with memorabilia from the past. Vintage pianos are on display for viewing and playing.

A variety of dark and milk chocolates are offered, along with specialty items such as seasonal crunch, chocolate covered blueberries, JavaMania coffees, blended iced drinks, and a variety of herbal teas. Boxes of chocolates, and gift baskets are also available. Located 1/2 block away from Patchwork Inn,we proudly serve the finest coffees from Hazel's.

Illinois Renewable Energy Association

Illinois Renewable Energy and Sustainable Lifestyle Fair Oregon, IL August 13 & 14, 2011. The Illinois Renewable Energy Association (IREA) supports sustainable energy development in Illinois. The IREA provides hands-on opportunities for the Illinois public to learn about the benefits, potentials, and uses of renewable energy and energy-efficiency for our homes and businesses.

Kickapoo Mud Creek Nature Conservancy

Kickapoo exists to protect, preserve and re-naturalize the land in the Mud Creek watershed while developing environmentally considerate demonstration projects and fostering information exchange with like-minded organizations both locally and more broadly. The Kickapoo Mud Creek Nature Conservancy, meeting center and demonstration dwelling are located on approximately 60 acres straddling Mud Creek just northwest of Oregon, Illinois.
